Purchasing a gun online is really, very easy.  As thousands of firearms are sold annually through online sites.

There are only THREE simple steps:
1. Find the gun you want, then you will pay us directly for the firearm.
2. Choose your local FFL dealer (Federal Firearms License), We cannot ship a gun direct to you, we do ship to the local FFL dealer of your choice. Any legitimate gun store or gun dealer has an FFL license; pawn shops and collectors may also have them.  Please note we will have to have a copy of a valid FFL prior to shipping.
3. Once the firearm arrives at your FFL, you will need to complete the Form 4473 and pick up your gun.  Please inspect your gun before accepting the transfer. Upon inspection of your gun if you find any defects leave the gun at the dealer and alert us right away. We will have it picked up for free and offer you an exchange or refund at no cost.

While rules and regulations change quite often, please check with your local FFL to verify the firearm is legal to be purchased in your state prior to purchasing.  Also please visit the ATF’s website to verify the firearm is legal in your state.
 

Firearms Sales (Online and In-Store)

  • All firearm sales are final once the firearm has shipped.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on firearms after shipment.
  • In the event of a manufacturer defect or warranty issue, the customer must work directly with the manufacturer under their warranty/repair process.

Order Cancellations

  • Cancellations by The Gun Room KY

    • The Gun Room KY reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion.
    • If we cancel an order, the customer will receive a full refund of the purchase price to the original payment method.
  • Cancellations/Refunds Requested by the Purchaser (Before Shipment)

    • If a customer requests to cancel an order or receive a refund before the firearm has shipped, a $50 restock fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
    • Any non‑refundable processing or server fees charged by the payment processor may also be deducted from the refund.

FFL Requirements (Online Firearm Purchases)

  • All firearm purchases must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide complete and accurate FFL information in a timely manner.
  • Failure to provide a valid FFL may result in order cancellation subject to the $50 restock fee and applicable processing fees as outlined above.

SELLING YOUR GUN WITH THE GUN ROOM

We make selling your gun simple and hassle-free. Bring your firearm to The Gun Room KY for an evaluation. Once we agree on terms, we’ll handle the entire process, including listing, marketing, and finding a buyer. After the sale, you’ll receive your payment minus our agreed-upon commission.
